South Seaville Manor

Compassionate hospice careIt is the mission of South Seaville Manor to provide our residents with a loving family atmosphere. To provide for their social needs through community involvement. To offer support and education to care givers and resident families.  To provide a ministry for the spiritual needs of the residents and their families.

South Seaville Manor Auxiliary, Inc. is a 501c (3) Non-Profit Organization licensed to operate a Residential Health Care Facility (“RHCF”) and Hospice for the terminally ill and disabled.

South Seaville Manor Auxiliary will have 20 private rooms with private bath for each resident.  South Seaville Manor Auxiliary is licensed by the State of New Jersey to operate a RHCF and offers Hospice and Palliative Care at a tranquil location in Cape May County, New Jersey.

The property and existing building that requires build outs is located in South Seaville, New Jersey with intent to complete final development 12 months after recieving funding.

This is the only non-profit RHCF in Cape May County, Southern New Jersey and the community awaits to opening of this project.

South Seaville Manor will be using the most environmentally friendly materials with the most energy efficient equipment available today.

 

RHCF and Hospice Service

Non-profit residential health careSouth Seaville Manor Auxiliary, a RHCF promotes maximum independence and offers private rooms with private baths, common areas for dining, recreation, a non-denominational chapel and internet access. Three meals a day are served in the common dining room. Housekeeping, maintenance and transportation service is also provided. The staff is responsible for assisting in obtaining medical and social services. Some provide assistance for special needs, such as for those using oxygen and assistive devices, or with behavioral health or cognitive impairments. SSMA is licensed and regulated by the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services and the Department of Community Affairs.

South Seaville Manor Auxiliary welcomes all persons regardless of age who have a life-threatening or terminal illness may require hospice care. Most reimbursement sources require a prognosis of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients with both cancer and non-cancer illnesses are eligible to receive hospice care.

The Hospice care centers offering compassionate care at the end of life that involves a team-oriented approach of expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient's wishes. Emotional and spiritual support also is extended to the family and loved ones. Members of the hospice staff make regular visits to assess the patient and provide additional care or other services. Hospice staff is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Basic services include visits to and services provided by your doctor, nursing care, medical equipment (such as wheelchairs or walkers), medical supplies (such as bandages and catheters), drugs for symptom control and pain relief, short-term inpatient and respite care , home health aide and homemaker services, physical and other therapies, social work services and grief support and counseling. The care that you receive for your terminal illness must be from a hospice.

Our residents will have their independence, a chance to meet new people, daily activies to enjoy with family or friends, complimentary transportation to and from nearby shops or restaurants, peaceful sitting rooms, private rooms and baths, a non-denominational chapel and celebrations for special occasions.
